Old house with a large shaded courtyard located in a quiet environment, a 5-minute walk from the historic center of Noyers, a medieval village ranked among the most beautiful villages in France. The beautiful courtyard, shaded by a magnificent wisteria, is the perfect spot for meals in the cool shade. An outdoor terrace extending from the kitchen offers an alternative dining spot. A barbecue is also available. One of the bedrooms opens onto a private terrace with views over the surrounding nature.
Noyers-sur-Serein is one of France's officially recognized "Most Beautiful Villages," a perfectly preserved medieval town nestled in a loop of the Serein river. Wandering its cobbled lanes, you'll discover half-timbered houses dating back to the 15th century, ancient wine cellar doorways opening straight onto the street, and remnants of the old fortified walls with their romantic towers. The village is renowned for its truffle markets each autumn, its art galleries and craft studios, and an atmosphere that feels wonderfully suspended in time.
