The beautiful village of Hautecour is situated above the market town of Moutiers where you will be able to shop for all of your day to day needs, and relax in the cafe's and restaurants . A 15-minute drive will get you to the lift station at Brides Les Bains for access to the fantastic 3 valleys in winter or a chance to relax in the famous spa waters in summer

We are new to the hosting business but have spent our professional careers dealing in the service sector. We live 5 minutes from the house and have spent a long time creating what we feel is a happy and welcoming space. Hautecour is a beautiful corner of France with lots to offer all year round. We live 5 minutes from the house and are available if you need us to help you out, although we are not fluent in french we can get by and have many bi lingual friends in the village if more help is needed.

In Hautecour you can enjoy peace, tranquillity and breath taking views in this beautiful corner of the Savoie, France. In the warmer months, a different walk awaits you every day, be it a gentle stroll around the traditional villages, the surprises of the outdoor art gallery or a strenuous hike to Quermoz (alt. 2296) Enjoy a swim in the natural lake in Le Breuil, followed by an authentic meal in the local restaurant. The Lake also provides a children’s play area, tennis court, basketball court, table tennis and a football pitch! The impressive climbing site of Mont Secret sits majestically below the house in La Basse, offering 140 routes spread over 12 sectors. In the winter there is ski touring, snow shoeing, sledging and with the famous thermal spa town of Brides les Bains just 15 minutes away by car, access to the 3 Valleys, the biggest ski resort in the world! Ideally you would need a car to get here but there is train station in Moutiers which is great for day trips out to Chambery or Lyon if you want to leave the car at home.
