La Maison des Chapitres was the bishop's residence in the early 15th century. It was immaculately restored and updated by renowned professor, critic, and art curator David Galloway and houses a unique collection of modern art. The spaces are large and beautiful with a mix of private and public areas, as well as rooftop garden with alpine views.
This is the most picturesque corner of the middle center of Forcalquier, a tranquil street in the heart of the town, short walking distance to restaurants, concerts, art galeries, nature hikes, a large public swimming pool, and easy driving distance to the rest of the beautiful Luberon valley, the côte d'azur, or the alps.
