Welcome to La Maison Kouglof! Colorful facades, half-timbering, sandstone of the Vosges: dive into typical Alsace. Located in the heart of the village, our house and its small terrace offer you a breathtaking view of the most beautiful houses of Nordheim, the plain of Alsace, the cathedral of Strasbourg (in good weather) and even the Black Forest! The house, although dating from the 16th-17th century, is fully equipped to bring you comfort and ease. The house has a bedroom with a double bed (160cm) and an additional sleeping area (90 cm) in the living room. We also have a cot available on request. Please note that the staircase inside the house is a staircase type miller. It is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. Notice to cyclists, bikers and other lovers of their vehicle: the garage is available free of charge.

Amélie is originally from the Limousin, 850km from Nordheim. She grew up welcoming tourists from France and Navarre in her mother’s guest rooms at the domaine des Tuillières in Masléon. After having lived in several regions of France and European countries, she settled in Alsace as part of her studies. While she was thinking of leaving again, as always, she fell in love with this beautiful region... and a beautiful Alsatian!

At the foot of the Stephansberg hill, Nordheim is at the crossroads of several hiking trails. Wander through the village to discover its rich architecture and houses lovingly maintained over the generations. Climb into the vineyards to enjoy a magnificent view of the plain of Alsace. At the end of the year, let yourself be invaded by the magic of the Christmas markets. The one in Nordheim starts at the foot of the Kouglof house and is held every year on the first weekend of December.
