Located in the heart of the beautiful Mayenne countryside set in a private garden. The cottage is all on one level making it ideal for those with limited mobility. The large lounge/diner has a traditional wood burner with comfortable seating in which to relax. Free Wi-Fi and satellite television are also available. There is also a large dining table seating six with ample cutlery and crockery. There are patio doors from this room to the outside where you will find private gardens with countryside views. Garden seating and loungers are provided along with a BBQ for those days relaxing at the cottage. The large bedrooms, one double and one twin, all with new comfortable beds, make it an ideal place for a family to stay. The Mayenne area being agricultural is like moving back in time when there was no rush to life. We live in a property dating from 1700s adjacent to the rental cottage and bread oven, which we fell in love with in 2003. We have spent our time here renovating and purchased the rental cottage in 2018. Our hobbies include gardening, furniture restoration, being good hosts to our guests and generally keeping busy. We are on hand if you have questions but respect your privacy also.

The local villages of Larchamp & Montaudin are in an ideal position from which to explore Brittany, Normandy and the Pays de la Loire. We are 5 minuites away from both villages that offer bakers, bar, restaurant, hairdresser, butcher, chemist. The town of Ernee has all amenities with modern supermarkets. More details of recommendations are in the welcome booklet in the cottage. Local walks with tourist office guided maps are provided. We have three renowned floral gardens close by, Jardin de la Pellerine, Parc Floral de Renaudies and Parc Botanique de Haute Bretagne.
