Louis and Fia give you a warm welcome in this gite for two people, in the hills of the Morvan, a national natural park in Burgundy. Peace seekers can indulge themselves, the gite is located in a rural area and has a beautiful view from the terrace (15 m2) where in winter and spring you can also hear our own stream (Ruisselle) flowing past the terrace. The bedroom has a comfortable bed with good mattresses, the kitchen is well equipped. La Ruisselle is a detached house, completely renovated in 2023 into a cozy and comfortable house, while retaining the authentic elements. The house is located in the yard of a farm, but privacy is guaranteed because there is no view from the yard of the gite's terrace. There is a charging point available for guests with an electric car.

We (Louis and Fia) look forward to welcoming you in our new gite from spring 2025. We have been living in France in the summer since 2023, and we work in the Netherlands in the winter. We have enjoyed the renovation, the beautiful landscape and the tranquility of the Morvan in recent years and we now enjoy letting others enjoy this beautiful place.

The Morvan is a paradise for hikers, fishermen, cyclists (with fitness or auxiliary motor) and motorcyclists. We are happy to help you on your way by informing you about the most beautiful routes along the green meadows, bordered by hedges and intersected with meandering rivers and streams. Swimming is possible in the Lac des Settons or, even more beautiful but a little further away, in the picturesque Lac de Pannecière. The liveliness can be found in Autun and Saulieu, both about 20 km from Ruisselle. There you will find attractive markets, cafes, restaurants and shopping opportunities. The hamlet of Ruisselle is located between the villages of Chissey and Cussy-en-Morvan, in both villages you can do small shopping. In the summer there are many village festivals, including, of course, the real French brocante markets.
