Welcome to our charming house in the Morvan Regional Nature Park in Burgundy – a wonderful place for both a relaxing stopover and a longer stay. Our house offers peace and quiet, comfort and a warm atmosphere amidst a beautiful natural landscape. For guests staying longer, it is the perfect base from which to explore the region. Discover the remains of ancient civilisations, follow picturesque routes through the famous Grand Cru vineyards, enjoy the unspoilt nature of the Morvan Park and be surprised by unique cultural experiences, such as: * THE BIBRACTE MUSEUM * CNCS: Theatre Costumes & Design. The terrace and garden are ideal places to relax with a good book and a drink. In the morning, the front balcony is pleasantly sunny, whilst the garden terrace is bathed in sunshine from midday onwards. We rent out three comfortable guest rooms (not the entire house), each with its own bathroom: * Room 1: comfortable room with two beds that can be joined or kept separate * Room 2: comfortable room with two beds that can be joined or kept separate * Room 3: a cosy room with a slightly smaller double bed (accessible from one side) Guests are welcome to use the living room, the fully equipped kitchen, the terrace, the garden and the balcony. We, your friendly and hospitable hosts (aged 54 and 77), live in a separate flat in the top floor of the building, fully equipped. We will welcome you personally and are on hand to help if needed, whilst fully respecting your privacy. On request, we’d be happy to prepare breakfast, lunch or dinner for you (upon request and payable in cash).

Our house is ideally situated on the central village square and offers stunning views of the square and the surrounding valley. After years of quiet, the village is slowly coming back to life, creating a peaceful and authentic atmosphere. Although there are no shops in the village itself, you will find a bakery, a butcher and a well-stocked supermarket just a 10-minute drive away. Directly opposite the church, just a one-minute walk from the house, you can enjoy a bite to eat and a drink at La Petite Auberge, beloved for its welcoming atmosphere and very reasonable prices. The square also has a special historical charm. Here stands the house where the Bonaparte brothers stayed whilst studying at the Lycée Militaire in Autun. One of these brothers later became King of Spain and, out of gratitude for the hospitality, donated the statue of the Virgin Mary to the village. This statue stands in front of the church as a lasting memento.
