We are a couple with two children: a son (10 years old) and a daughter (20 years old). La Truffière is above all a family story: it was a barn that was passed on to Jérôme by his father, and in order to preserve this family heritage, we wanted to take up the challenge of transforming this barn into a home. We are used to renting gîtes with friends, and we designed this project to include everything that was important to us: a beautiful and convivial communal living space, where we enjoy preparing and sharing meals together, but also meeting for long evenings of discussion. We also felt it was important to create a sleeping and washing area where everyone could find their privacy, and above all where everyone could get ready quickly in the morning: organisation is essential when it comes to group outings! Finally, we wanted to develop the outdoor park so that everyone could create nice holiday memories: swimming pool, bowling alley, children's playground, relaxation area a little apart... These are the main criteria that guided our choices for your well-being!

La Truffière du Vignou offers you the guarantee of a stay in a haven of peace, with family or friends. Outside, the heated and covered swimming pool ensures that you can enjoy wonderful moments of swimming even if the weather is being facetious. Summer evenings are a good time to try out the plancha and enjoy dinner on the terrace, close to the pool and the bowling green, with the children playing right next door. Inside, the gîte has been designed to make your stay as pleasant as possible: on the ground floor, you will spend pleasant moments in a large, bright living room. The well-stocked kitchen and back kitchen will give chefs the opportunity to demonstrate their culinary talents to the delight of their loved ones! On the first floor, four bedrooms, each with an adjoining shower room, will allow you to enjoy late mornings for the sleepers: they will not be woken up by the early risers who will be up at dawn to enjoy the swimming pool, or to discover our beautiful Périgord! In winter, warm and lively evenings are in prospect around the wood stove: board games are available for great moments of good humour!
