Stéphane and Nathalie have settled down at La Vallée Verte, after having travelled a lot themselves in bed and breakfast. They will be happy to welcome you into their serene world and offer you a break in their garden in the summer and their living room with fireplace in the winter. Stéphane and Nathalie are lovers of art and cooking. They like to show their region and its gastronomy, and treat their guests to their table d'hôtes with good food. In this case, please inform them at least two days in advance, so that they have time to go to the market and cook for you.

La Vallée Verte has 5 rooms in a seigneurial residence dating from 1586. Over the centuries, it was the house of the tax collector and then an important farm. You will appreciate its Burgundy stones, its large beams, its fireplaces, its rooms with large volumes and a thousand architectural details! Some particularities of our rooms: - Our house offers different rooms. But you can be sure that the services are of equal quality - They are all spacious (35-50 m2), double, and have their own private bathroom and toilet as well as a sitting area. The bedding is comfortable and well cared for. - 3 are located on the 1st and 2nd floors of the house - 2 others have their own entrance - 1 is on the ground floor (particularly suitable for people who are uncomfortable on the stairs, please let us know if this is the case) - 1 room has a piano - Each room is also suitable for working: a desk or a table are at your disposal, with a Wifi connection We do our best to allocate you the room that best suits your needs.

La Vallée Verte is located near Langres, in Grandchamp, a well-kept village of 75 inhabitants in the south of the Haute-Marne, at the crossroads of Champagne, Burgundy and Franche-Comté. The A31 motorway is 22 minutes away. In a pretty wooded valley, La Vallée Verte is ideally situated for a stopover in the middle of route du soleil or to spend a few days discovering the riches of the region: - culture, such as Langres (20 minutes away), the city of philosophy with its two thousand year old ramparts, Dijon and Besançon (1 hour away), regional capitals - traditions and heritage, such as Fayl-Billot (25 minutes away), a centre of basket-making, or Champlitte (20 minutes away), where you can discover the life of yesteryear, not forgetting the local wines and cheeses and the flea markets - forests and springs: hiking from the house (the Via Francigena passes through), the National Forest Park, the springs of the Marne, Aube, Vingeanne...
