New for 2026, this newly converted old house is now a fully modern equipped gite. Perfect for one person or a couple looking for a little piece of french countryside living. Situated in a small hamlet and part of the Lazy Days hospitality name, our gite offers onsite allocated parking, private entrance and private garden. Fully Air conditioned for those hot summer days and heated for a cosy winter stay. Wifi is throughout and the TV is a smart TV with apps available. A new fitted bathroom and kitchen gives you everything to make your stay comfortable. An outside covered terrace, leading from the car parking, provides an outside dining area. The garden is private consisting of a graveled area with shrubs and trees on the boundary. The inflatable spa (upon request) is available during the summer months to provide a welcome relief from the hot summer heat. Your essentials are provided, bed linen, towels, toiletries and kitchen basics. Our BnB is located adjacent to this gite and can host up to 4 adults with our 2 double rooms. We have lived in France for 15 years and 10 of those have been as hosts in our chambres d'hotes, Lazy Days. Our love of hosting and creating a home from home is what makes Lazy Days special. We have many animals on site, donkey, horse, goat, alpacas, chickens, dogs and cats have been a great attraction throughout the years. Trevor is a retired plumber and in my previous years of being a bank manager and funeral director, I have met many different people, so customer service is my priority.

Our hamlet of Les Egaux is located in the Haute Vienne region of France, which is know as the 'lake district of France'. The hamlet is in the middle of 4 towns, Le Dorat, Chateauponsac, Magnac Laval and Bellac (of which is the largest). Our nearest village is Rancon which has many galleries and 2 restaurants, Le Georges and The Mill. There are many lakes in the area which are available for fishing, plus the biggest lake in the region Lac St. Pardoux. Here you can take part in water sports, enjoy the sandy beaches, use the aqua centre or visit the local restaurant. Concerts and night cinema are also held here in the summer months. The beautiful city of Limoges famous for porcelain is 30 minutes drive from the gite. The famous town Of Oradour sur Glane is located 20 minutes drive away. This was the site of 2nd world war massacre and has been kept as a museum in memory to all those who died.
