Welcome to a 19th century countryside house rich in character by the edge of the forest. Located in a picturesque and bucolic village, you can practice several activities such as hiking, biking, horse hiding and bouldering in world famous spots or play golf in the many courses nearby. You are close to Fontainebleau's Castle, impressionists' Barbizon and Grez-sur-Loing, medieval Milly-la-Forêt and Moret-sur-Loing, lovely Bourron-Marlotte, the Equestrian Centre du Grand Parquet. A delightful and refined family house in the “Île-de-France”-country style, for those who seek authenticity and a convivial atmosphere. You'll enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature, as the garden you’ll see from your bedroom blends with the Fontainebleau forest. We are at only 2 min walk from the forest trails. The two available bedrooms are on the first floor of the house and have an exclusive shared spacious bathroom and a separated WC. We also give you access to the living room, the kitchen and the dining room, where you will be able to prepare and enjoy your breakfast and light meals. For breakfast, you will have at your disposal tea, coffee, milk, bread, croissants, cereal, yogbutter, jam and local honey. Please note that if you book for 2 people, but not a couple, and wish to have the 2 bedrooms, please book for 3 people to get the second bedroom.

You will be welcomed by the owners, both French with international background, with whom you won’t have any problem communicating. We’ll be available during your stay to respond to any enquiries and will do our best to make it an exceptional experience in this beautiful region that we love. It'll certainly seduce you too! We will happily share our love of the Gâtinais regional park and our knowledge of the forest, including the Grand Tour de Paris (GR 11), the villages, the castles and the good addresses nearby. The house is only 5 min away from the motorway A6, which links Paris to the south of France. You’ll find yourself 12 min by car from Fontainebleau and near to Larchant, to the Gorges of Franchard and d'Apremont. You can also visit the beautiful Courances Castle at a 25min drive and the magnificent Vaux-le-Vicomte Castle, which inspired Versailles.

Recloses is a typical village situated in the Gâtinais Regional Park south of the Fontainebleau Forest, with a 12th century Romanesque church. It borders the head of a dry valley extending up to banks of the Loing river at Montigny. This offers a splendid view of the forest and a convenient access for walking or hiking. At the start of the trails you’ll find a space to picnic next to tennis and boules courts and a football field. Its location in a forest niche makes the village particularly quiet and protects it from traffic while still providing an easy access. There are three ways to come to our village from Paris: - by car from Paris: Porte d’Orléans, Motorway A6 (65 kms), exit nr 14 – Malesherbes (first exit after the Fleury tollgate), turn left to Ury, then follow signs to Recloses in 3,8 kms; - By train from Paris Gare de Lyon to Bourron-Marlotte (Ligne R - Transilien with final destination Montargis – 55 min travel - train every one hour plus 5 min car drive to the house.
