We are a couple who have loved "beautiful stones" for many years. We were extremely fortunate to acquire this exceptional property in 2020, characterized as a "neo-classical Louis XVI folly." The Château du Prieuré d'Evecquemont (also known as "Grace-Dieu") was built at the beginning of the 20th century on the foundations of the former Benedictine priory belonging to Fécamp Abbey, which adjoined the Church of Notre Dame de l'Assomption and seems to have existed until the 18th century. During the revolution, it was sold as national property, and the buildings and cloistered areas were converted into a bourgeois house. Evecquemont, and more particularly the Château du Prieuré, is known for often serving as the setting for numerous films, such as "Le Grand Pardon," "Neuilly sa mère," and "Le Bazar de la Charité."
