A stunning bed and breakfast in the heart of the Loire Valley. Le Chaton Rouge is in the centre of St Pierre du Lorouer, a small village between Tours and Le Mans. This beautifully renovated 18th century townhouse has four bedrooms and combines classic French style with modern touches. A continental breakfast is included with your reservation, and upon prior request an evening meal can be prepared and served in the dedicated outdoor dining room. Le Chaton Rouge is a licensed premises so you can enjoy afternoon drinks on the sun loungers, aperitifs on the terrace and a bottle of regional wine with your meal.

Neighborhood info

When not relaxing within the grounds of Le Chaton Rouge, there is plenty to enjoy including walking and cycling in the scenic countryside, horse riding, and mountain biking through the Forest of Berce. You can also sunbath and swim at the lakes in Marcon, just 12km from the house. We are perfectly located for you to explore the nearby villages, towns and cities, and of course the stunning chateaux along the banks of the river Loir and the Le Mans race track with is less than 20 miles away. We can also help to organise for wine and cheese tasting, and falconry experiences upon request.
