Le Hameau d’Eguisheim is a true Alsatian living space located in the heart of the fortified town. This former post house has retained its old charm and promises a pleasant, typical stay amid old stones and exposed beams. Owners of an organic vineyard for 13 generations, Stéphanie and Mathieu undertook major renovations in 2011 and 2012 to modernize the site. The goal was to combine wine and tourism, allowing guests to stay at the heart of the estate. Since opening in January 2013, they have continuously improved it to better satisfy their guests.

Located in the heart of the medieval village of Éguisheim, ranked among the most beautiful villages in Alsace, Le Hameau d’Éguisheim welcomes you in an authentic half-timbered house within a family-owned vineyard estate. Staying at Le Hameau means immersing yourself in the estate and its winemaking world. On site, guests can visit the tasting cellar, discuss the Alsatian terroir, and taste the estate’s wines in an authentic setting. The property offers 5 charming guest rooms (Ange, Bronze, Flocon, Boisée, and Cœur) and 2 spacious, high-end cottages, Léon and Guillaume, measuring 78 and 80 m², accommodating up to 4 people. Located on the 2nd and 3rd floors, the cottages face due west, providing magnificent sunsets over the roofs of Éguisheim. The Guillaume cottage also features a private terrace. The guest rooms, on the 1st floor of the family house, each feature a unique decoration designed by Stéphanie. They mainly accommodate 2 guests, except for the Flocon room, which can host up to 3. Each accommodation offers all necessary comforts: bed and bath linens, toiletries, TV, Wi-Fi, hairdryer, courtesy tray with coffee and tea. Breakfast, made with local and seasonal products, is included for guest rooms and served under the beautiful exposed beams of the former wine cellar. For the cottages, breakfast is optional at 12 euros per person. Guests also have access to shared spaces including a terrace and a laundry room with a washer and dryer. Pets are welcome, limited to one per stay, at 10 euros per pet per day. Final cleaning is mandatory for the cottages and charged at 65 euros per apartment.

Village activities: fun tours, year-round events by the Tourist Office, vineyard trails, wine festival, mushroom festival, Christmas market, hiking, mountain biking, segway, massages and treatments, tourist train. Discoveries in and around the village: stork park, castles. Several restaurants and shops are near the property.
