Welcome to our charming 1820 home, ideally located in the picturesque village of Saint-Mathurin-sur-Loire, just a few meters from the banks of the Loire River. Lovingly and tastefully renovated by ourselves, the house features handcrafted furniture and unique decor that give it a warm, authentic character. Set on a 5000m² property, the garden offers several peaceful spots to relax, as well as a vegetable garden and orchard where you’re welcome to enjoy seasonal fruits such as raspberries, cherries, figs, peaches, pears, apples, grapes, and more. The village offers all essential services and shops within walking distance, including a mini-market, bakery, pharmacy, tobacconist, ATM, and more.
I’m delighted to welcome you to Le Logis du Pic Vert (you might even be lucky enough to spot one in the garden!), a peaceful little haven full of flowers and calm. Please don’t hesitate to ask me for tips about the region — places to visit, scenic walks, local events, and more. I live on-site and will be available if you need anything... unless I’m busy making homemade jams! If you'd like to chat a bit during your stay, I’d be happy to share my passion for nature, cooking, mushroom foraging, and even scuba diving.
The house has the advantage of being in the countryside while being just over 1 km from the village, which offers all the necessary shops and services. Everything can easily be done using sustainable mobility: on foot, by bike, or by train.
