Small garden around 50 metres walk with table and chairs and stunning views of the mountains. Please be aware that the garden is not attached to the apartment and is accessed by two flights of steps. Also, the garden is attached to neighbours so we would kindly request that there is no excessive noise. We also lock the garden gate at 21H30.

Set in the foothills of the Pyrenees this is ideal for people who love the outdoor life. The apartment is ideally suited to couples and there is a garden around 50 metres away where you are welcome to sit and eat breakfast, lunch or dinner or just sit there in the evening with a glass of wine! The surrounding countryside has many beautiful walks on your doorstep, lakes, fishing, kayaking, canyoning, and is great cycling terrain. Though the village is very quiet it is less than 5 minutes by car to the larger town of Quillan set on the banks of the river Aude, with many bars and restaurants plus supermarkets and twice weekly market. It is around 40 minutes walk to Quillan going the backway on tracks with stunning scenery. The region is steeped in history with many Cathare castles, plus the legends of Rennes le Chateau and Bugerach, all in close proximity. There really is so much to do and see here. The Spanish border is around 1.5 hours away as are the beaches of the Mediterannean. Ski centres around 30km's away.
