Property info

Our accommodations are situated in a pleasant countryside setting, with the following amenities located in the heart of our small park: A SHARED HEATED SWIMMING POOL. A SHARED OUTDOOR BARBECUE. A SHARED OUTDOOR JACUZZI. Between our 2/4-person gîte and our 2/3-person bed and breakfast (open from May to October 1st), a trampoline, a pétanque court, and a barbecue are also available. Our bed and breakfast, located on the upper floor of the main house, is now rented on a self-catering basis. A kitchen on the ground floor is available for the private use of our guests, equipped with an oven, refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, and dining table. It is on the same level as the swimming pool and garden. The gîte is located on the garden level, has a separate entrance, and its own terrace overlooking the swimming pool. The bathroom in this room includes a shower and a bathtub.

Neighborhood info

Mercuer is a charming little village of just over 1,000 inhabitants with two restaurants, one in the village center and another a little further out. Long ago, the Romans came to Mercuer, leaving behind beautiful, well-preserved paved roads, a magnificent bridge spanning the Mercoire River, and, according to legend, a temple dedicated to Mercury upon which the magnificent 12th-century Romanesque church was built. Nearby are the major sites of the department (Mont Gerbier de Joncs, Ray Pic waterfall, Pont du Diable, Ardèche Gorges, Pont d'Arc Cave, etc.). We can recommend many places to visit. Just a few minutes away is the spa town of Vals-les-Bains with its thermal park, casino, weekly market, restaurants and ice cream parlors, and numerous activities.
