The Garden room is equipped with a king sized double bed and flat-screen TV offering English and French channels. There is a separate shower room, private entrance and adjacent guest lounge which is equipped with a fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, air fryer, kettle and coffee machine together with a complementary tea and coffee tray. A continental breakfast (if selected at time of booking) is served each morning in the dining room and is served at a time specified by the guest. We do not serve evening meals but there are restaurants in nearby Gaillefontaine, Formerie and Forges Les Eaux, however, if you do not feel like venturing out after a long drive, we invite you to bring a picnic or use the cooking facilities provided. Many of our guests enjoy visiting the animals at Le Petit Verger, which include sheep, alpacas, chickens, pigs and Shetland ponies. Electric gates to the property provide safe and secure parking.
Le Petit Verger was built in 1880 and is a traditional Normandy longère. We have owned the property since 2014 and finally realised a lifelong ambition of opening the bed and breakfast in February 2015. The house is set in a tranquil location and caters for people travelling for business or pleasure.
Grumesnil is a quiet village surrounded by rolling hills and farmland. It is situated 20 minutes from Neufchatel-en-Bray and the Avenue Verte and 15 minutes from Forges-les-Eaux. The closest supermarkets, bars and restaurants can be found 6 kilometres away in Formerie.
