The property is a light and airy top floor apartment with gobsmacking 270 degree views from Fornet to La Daille. Very well equipped with free wifi, Uk freeview TV, nespresso coffee machine, microwave, dishwasher and all regular consumables - salt, pepper, oil, foil, cling film, hand soap, dish tabs, squeezey and toilet paper in case youre caught short on arrival!
I lived in Val d'sere for 11 years until late 90s and eventually found the perfect apartment for myself and my family.
Le Portillo is situated 50 metres from a bus stop on either side of the road allowing access to the free bus service which will take you to and bring you back from which ever ski area you choose to start or finish your day. We find that is is an absolute saviour when we have two kids with helmets, poles and skis as well as our own kit when we are rushing to off load the kids at ski school for a 9am start! If you choose to walk to the centre of the village for the boulangerie or bars, it is only a 5 - 10 minute walk.
