'' The Refuge '', beautiful guest house on a plot of 4ha with pool, water pond, orchard, vegetable garden, and our little donkeys. It is located a few kms from Chinon towards Saumur, very easy to access. Private terrace and beautiful swimming pool in a bucolic greenery with deckchairs, parasols and a trellis to eat in the shade. Our donkeys will be happy to go for a walk with you if you wish. Fireplace period to enjoy a small flambé on winter evenings ;-)
We launched our activity for a few months and hope to make pleasant meetings. We love traveling, art, nature, animals, music and meditation. Gérald practice sports bcp including kayaking, cycling, running and hiking. Séverine who is osteopath by profession and also dance teacher (Nia). We are very respectful of people and places and we expect conversely the reciprocal when we receive at home.
The Refuge has an independent access and a large car park. We are located at the exit Chinon 800m from the deviation near the main axis to Candes St Martin (12kms), Abbey Fontevrault (15 km and Saumur). The concentration of remarkable monuments in this region has justified the inscription of the Loire Valley on the list of World Heritage by Unesco. A number of castles, usually of royal origin or built by lords close to royal power, have a very important reputation. All these castles, with a global number close to 3000, form the largest concentration in the world of this type of monument.
