Pendant les trois mois d'été, il est quasi impossible de se garer à Etretat. Pendant l'été 2020, de nombreux touristes n'ont pu trouver une place pour garer leur voiture que sur les bords des routes d'accès et jusqu'à 3 kilomètres du centre et de la plage. Dans le centre-ville tous les emplacements sont payant. La possibilité de se garer gratuitement dans un parking privé situé derrière la maison "Le Repos" est donc un avantage inestimable et cela évite de chercher pendant des heures une place libre. Une borne de recharge pour véhicules électriques est installée dans ce parking. Le propriétaire d'un véhicule électrique peut donc arriver le Vendredi avec des batteries déchargées, marcher au bord de la mer ou sur les falaises pendant de longues journées et repartir le Dimanche avec des batteries pleines. Bienvenue.

So, it is not the oldest Golf field in France, but since that day, it has kept his attractiveness and its charm, perches up on the cliff. Just below, young fanatics pratice surfing all year round, in the waves rolling up breaking waves, above what was once oyster reserves intended for the court of the king of France and Marie-Antoinette.... 90 meters high separate golfers (old) and surfers (young).
Guy de Maupassant, famous french writer, traveled in Marocco, Algeria, Tunisia and many others countries. He had a boat in the harbour of Cannes, named "Le bel ami", and published romans of his adventures, but his house, his garden and his flowers where in Etretat, rue Guy de Maupassant... The city is well known in all the world, not only because of his beauty, but also because of all the "impressionist painters" who came in Etretat and painted the famous cliffs and the beach. All the Museum on the planet have some paintings of Monet, Manet, Pissaro, Degas, Renoir, Berthe Morisot, who all came in Etretat and stayed in the City.
