Penny and Vincent welcome you to La Venelle Saint Jean in Honfleur. Set in a 14th century home, one of the eldest in Honfleur, this property consists of three apartments each on separate levels and with their own key. Wooden beams and many of its original features, these apartments are unique; an architects dream! Sharing a common courtyard where there is a table and two chairs. Decorative (non functional) fireplaces can be found in the La Suite Fleur du Lys (dating to the 16th Century) and the second floor Saint Jean apartment. Perfect for a romantic getaway. In town yet quiet, confortable and easily accessible to NATUROSPACE free parking and all that Honfleur has to offer. Each floor is a seperate apartment. Note there are stairs! Elevators were not very common in the 14th Century when this mariners home was built. Kitchens in each apartment. Each has 2 induction hotplates and microwave. No oven (hub). These facilities are fully equipped but not appropriate for large meals. All you need for coffee and tea, microwave, dishwasher, two induction stovetop and a fully stocked kitchen. No need to bring linens, white comfy sheets and fluffy white towels await you. The Saint Jean has a larger refrigerator of the three.

American, here for 20+ years I love the town and am happy to assist with many of the secrets and treasures you may wish to explore. All just steps from the apartment. Park at the Naturospace to avoid paying fees. Its easy to get to and just minutes from the apartments. Exquisite furnishing, in visitors favorite area. The sunniest are the Atelier and Saint Jean. Saint Jean boasts a seperate bedroom facing the courtyard. The Fleur de Lys is an open area floor plan with the bed also facing the garden courtyard. L Atelier is much larger than the others and is always a favorite amongst our returning guests.

Quiet, centrally locatted you have access to the gorgeous town harbor with many shops, restaurants, museums and cafes. Dont forget our local markets the big one on Saturday morning and a smaller (but organic) market Wednesday morning. Definately worth going to and you will be enticed by our local produce, especially the salads, vegetables and seasonal local fruit not to mention the best seafood platters which you can enjoy at the restaurant or bring back to your dwelling to enjoy. Naturospace, a free parking lot for 200+ vehicles is just 4 minutes from us. It is the Parking closest to 'the lighthouse in the middle of Bd Charles V'. Look for the butterfly signs when entering the town to get there. Walk to our beach or the public gardens or a 20 minute drive takes you to the beaches of Deauville its famous boardwalk, casinos and lots of wonderful shopping and restaurants. Public tennis courts, pool and a beautiful garden are 100 meters from us. A good starting point is to download the free ap from the Honfleur Tourist Office to obtain a map and what is going on in town. Additionally I will be here to help you. La rue Haute has just recently been done and is beautiful! Stroll 'the eldest street in Honfleur and enjoy people watching or head to the harbor for refreshement and a gorgeous view.
