When Roeland started his training Hotel management 10 years ago he had only one dream, to one day be the owner of a place where he could spoil his guests with his cooking skills. In 2018 Roeland’s dream became a shared dream. By joining our forces we want to create a small paradise. We combine Roeland’s love for cooking with the creativity and diligence of Milou, whereby our guests feel absolutely surrounded with comfort.
‘Le Voilà’ is casual, cosy, honest, delicious and open to everybody. If you’re on your way to your holiday destination in the south and you’re looking for a stop where you can already experience the holiday-feeling, you want to catch your breath with a week in the French countryside or you just want to have a good meal, you are in the right place at ‘Le Voilà’! A place where the romantic atmosphere of the French country meets the Dutch hospitality in the ultimate holiday-destination.
Property info
A stately building on the Rue du Petit Pressoir in the friendly little town Melay. A little less than 200 years ago – in the year 1821 – the edifice was being exploited as an inn, ‘chambre d’hôtes’ in French.
This year the old day are revived in Melay. In 2019 ‘Le Voilà’ opened her doors to the public. We are happy to welcome you in one of our three cosy guestrooms. We also offer you an authentic and cosy bistrot, where fresh and local products are being transformed into authentic French dishes with a modern twist. Also the bistrot is the place to enjoy a cup of coffee with a piece of homemade pie, to have a drink or to play a boardgame with your family or friends.

Discover the region of ‘Champagne Ardennen’ with its marvellous rolling landscapes, where wide views are mixed with colourful forests. In a circle of fifty kilometres you can experience the life in ‘La douce France’ by visiting different châteaux, brocantes and vide-greniers (flee-markets), Roman ruins, champagne houses, the thermal baths of Bourbonne les Bains, and of course the wine areas with wine tastings.
