Located in the heart of the medieval city of Carcassonne, Hôtel Le Donjon - Cœur de La Cité Médiévale is surrounded by the city’s ancient ramparts. The hotel features a restaurant and bar. It is divided into 2 buildings. Free WiFi is provided throughout. With views of street or the garden, the rooms are individually decorated and include a flat-screen TV. They overlook either the citadel or the hotel’s garden. A buffet breakfast is served each morning at the hotel. Le Donjon’s restaurant serves traditional French cuisine and there is also a cocktail bar where guests are invited to relax in the evening. The hotel is located in the heart of a unique historical monument. Measures taken by the local authorities to preserve its environment include restricting vehicle access during the day. The hotel has 2 car parks that are located outside the city walls. Guests arriving between 13:00 and 20:00 can be greeted at the car park.

Guests are advised to contact the hotel before arrival in order to receive up-to-date information concerning access to the medieval citadel.

The hotel has a shuttle service and a valet service available for guests using the hotel's paid parking.
