Dear Guests First and foremost, we like all our guests to feel at home throughout their stay. We are 'comme la maison' and offer a relaxed atmosphere for you to share. Our home is surrounded by the beautiful and peaceful countryside of Correzze. You have access to a very spacious shared garden with outdoor dining and sun loungers. Breakfast can be served to you in the garden in the warmer weather. There are both sunny and shaded areas for you to enjoy and a small bbq is available for you by request. You will find everything you need in your room, primarily a comfortable bed! There is a small table and chairs seating area within the room. Simple tableware is provided for you should you need it. Guests can enjoy a cup of coffee, tea or cold drink with a snack from the tray which is provided free of charge. There is also a small refrigerator provided for guests to keep drinks and other small items cool. We have a breakfast option which is always fresh and plentiful. Guests can choose to have breakfast in room, in the dining kitchen or in the garden weather permitting. During your stay, please do ask us for anything that will make your stay comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable.

Ian and I moved to France from England to escape the hustle and bustle of English city living. We feel thoroughly at home in France and we always look forward to meeting people on their travels. Buying the property here in France was quite an undertaking but one that has totally transformed our lives. The house needed a refurbishment to say the least. New roof, new floors, new kitchen the list went on. Ian suddenly adapted from being a science and sports teacher into a project manager and on site builder overnight! He has lovingly restored the house into what we consider to be a warm and inviting home where family, friends and guests can feel at home. We both love the outdoors, hiking, camping and the surrounding wildlife give us pleasure every day. There are so many wonderful areas for our guests to explore and we are always happy to share our local tips and knowledge with you. I have a passion for cooking and pride myself on home cooked food. I use fruit from our garden to make home made jams and preserves. I like to use our local produce wherever possible. We hope that you will feel at home in the same way the we do during your stay with us.

We are surrounded by beautiful countryside views and green pastures. There is an abundance of wild life, particularly birds to be found including, buzzards, kites, kestrels and little owls as well as an array of smaller garden birds. Our village of Saint Pardoux Corbier can be found just a 1km walk from the house. It has a bar and a very good restaurant at its tiny centre. During the summer months, a weekly fete is held each Wednesday evening by the lakeside. Here you can sample local food and wine. The locals and tourists sit together in the town square whilst local bands play accompanied by lots of dancing. A truly friendly and traditional affair! The nearest larger town is Lubersac. Here you will find everything you need such as large supermarkets, pharmacies, Post Office, banking, cafes and of course several hair salons and barbers. There is also a local open air swimming pool for the summer months and an area for pétanque play. The nearest larger cities are Brive (35 mins by car) and Limoges which is the capital of our region (45 mins). Here you will find places of historical and cultural interest and a nightlife with bars, restaurants and music scene for you.
