Les Petits Champs is a SELF-CATERING apartment in an old farmhouse in rural Normandy. Split over two floors the apartment consist of: Upstairs is a double bedroom with door to a lounge/ children's bedroom with daybed that can be two single beds, plus a shower room. A ground floor barn room with supering bed and lounge and a fully equipped kitchenette with patio doors leading to a fenced patio with table, chairs and sunshade. We can accommodate 4 adults, 2 children + 2 infants. Cots provided. Sun loungers also provided for guests to use. Parking available in the drive. Surrounded by our own fields and orchard the setting is beautiful, and peaceful, except for the occasional sound of our cockerels calling to each other, which blends into the whole old-worldly atmosphere of the place. So come sit a while in our lovely grounds and let the stresses and strains of modern life slip away while you relax with a glass of wine or two whilst looking at the view. You may even catch a glimpse of the various wildlife here: from red squirrels, deer, hares, pine-martins. You can make friends with Albert and Freddie, our rescued donkeys and Ulano, our rescued miniature shetland pony, who whinnies when anyone arrives. Watch as our our Silkie chickens and Muscovy ducks go about their daily lives in their large pen, they might even lay some eggs for you for your breakfast. Also we have 3 semi-feral cats and 4 others that are super friendly as we bottled fed them when their mother was killed on the road. Then we have Daisy, our miniature Jack Russell dog who loves to greet our guests. Five minutes drive from our farmhouse are some Abbey ruins that are worth a look. Saint Hilaire du Harcouet is only about 20 minutes drive from us and it holds a huge market every Wednesday. Lovely beaches and Mont St Michel is about an hours drive from us. A must to see while you stay here. We hope you will love it here as much as we do and go home with lovely memories of a relaxing break.

There are Abbey ruins just down the lane from us. Saint Hilaire Du Harcouet is 20 minutes and it has a big market every Wednesday. There are a lot of dfferent restauarants here and also a few big supermarkets. Mortain with its 2nd WW site is 35 minutes. Mont Saint Michel and lovely beaches that seem to go on forever is only 60 minutes drive away. A beautiful beach to visit with easy parking and lovely restuarants is called Carolles-Plage. Domfront Medieval City is only about 45 minutes drive from us and Bagnoles De l'Orne a bit further on from Domfront and worth a visit. Fougeres with its massive chateau is similar distance about 45 minutes drive away and worth seeing. Also Vitre - an ancient little town with a chateau to visit is really worth seeing and only about an hours drive from us.
