Les Reves is surrounded by mountains, which change constantly in the light. It is a paradise for walkers, photographers and those who want to relax by the pool, yet within reach of various tourist attractions. After a busy day walking, sunbathing or jousting in medieval Carcassonne, relax in the jacuzzi under the stars, or snuggle up in front of the wood burner.
We moved to Arques in 2014 and have settled here with our two daughters, two dogs and two chickens. Various marked hiking footpaths criss-cross the area and I, our daughters and the dogs have completed a number of them (the chickens aren't quite as keen!). I'd love to share my favourites with you and guides are available in the gite.
Whether you prefer medieval architecture, the golden sand of the Mediterranean, mountains, white water or total relaxation by the pool, you can find it all on a holiday at Les Reves. Arques is a small village, yet has its own bakery and bar, and we're just 10 minutes from our nearest town of Couiza.
