A lovely little cottage in a small hamlet situated in the west of France. Les Rosiers Cottage has been totally renovated to a modern standard. Perfect for 2 to 4 persons in transit, but as well very suitable for longer holidays it's a complete house. This holiday home is equipped with 1 bedroom (double bed), 1 comfortable sofa-bed (double bed), a kitchen with a microwave and a fridge, a flat-screen TV english and French channels, a seating area and 1 bathroom with shower. Free private car port place, enough room for camper-cars / caravan. Outside sitting area, and a large beautiful garden for you to use and enjoy fruit and herbs when in season. To make your stay more pleasurable and easy..... In the kitchen we have for you some coffee, sugar and powder-milk, and cooking spices in the kitchen. In the bathroom you will find shampoo/conditioner, body wash, shower-cap and other useful some toiletries. Should you need to use an iron please let me know. Breakfast. Bicycles
We speak English, Dutch, French, German and Spanish. We come from the Netherlands, but I grew up in France, that is the reason why we speak so many languages so well. We decided to move to France and enjoy the good-life and the wonderful soft weather, not too hot not too cold. Returning to my roots, we do feel more at home in France than anywhere else in the world.
The hamlet has about 40 properties in it. It is very quiet and it has a feel of safetyness about it. There are no direct neighbours and even the street lights go out around 22:00 pm. In the summer it is surrounded by fields of sunflowers and maize. Ideal for artists, hikers, cyclists and nature lovers and of course anyone who just wants peace and quiet. We are close-by the N10 road but you will not hear it at all at our location but perfect to get back on the road quickly to continue your journey. Les Rosiers is locate near Chaunay, the nearest airport is Poitiers-Biard and is 49 km from the holiday home. Limoges airport is 100 km. Train station Civray - Gare de Saint Saviol 7,8 km Train station Ruffec - Gare de Ruffec 19,5 km
