Specialists in the hotel industry, the owners of the Château de Candes Art & Spa in Candes St Martin, Monique and Didier PIGNET wanted to add an accommodation offer to the Château with different Suite-Apartments carefully decorated and with a luxurious level of comfort. Taken over by their Son Bertrand and his wife Jingwen in 2022, a new breath is given to the estate with the development of new services such as breakfasts, the troglodyte Spa, the Wine Cellar and show events in the park during the summer season.

In the Domaine du Château de Candes Art and Spa, 4 star tourist résidence, overlooking the village of Candes Saint Martin classified as "the most beautiful villages in France", you will enjoy a unique view of the Confluence of the Loire and the Vienne classified by UNESCO. You will enjoy during your stay the two heated swimming pools (outdoor accessible from May to September for the outside pool), a Sauna and a unique troglodyte Massage Room in a lush orchard of 3000 square meters. A few steps away, the Terrace of the castle and its breathtaking view over the confluence of the Loire and the Vienne as well as the permanent exhibition in the park of 60 monumental works of Street Art. A popular meeting place for families and couples. The Château de Candes Art & Spa is the combination of a superb 19th century château with 7 bedrooms, a two-bedroom tower and 12 top-of-the-range gites with 1 to 3 bedrooms, all giving access to the swimming pools and spa area as well as a to its astonishing 5-hectare park, which has become an Urban Art museum surrounded by nature. All accommodation has its own kitchen and living room as well as a garden with outdoor furniture, BBQ. The Wifi connection, like the resolutely modern decoration, has nothing to envy to the big city with high-speed internet accessible in all accommodations. Art and well-being are at the rendezvous in this intimate and unusual area.

You will be here in an admirable corner of Touraine, very close to Anjou (Abbaye de Fontevraud, Saumur, Chinon, Tours...), in the heart of the fabulous region of the Châteaux de la Loire. Candes Saint-Martin is also a medieval village listed among the Most Beautiful Villages in France, which welcomes you a stone's throw from Montsoreau. Remarkably preserved, it has regained all its authenticity of yesteryear for pleasant walks.
