Located in the historic heart of Aniane, Les Toits d’Aniane offers a charming 20 m² guest room, bright and comfortable, featuring a queen-size bed and a private shower room.
The toilet is shared with the hosts and is carefully cleaned daily to ensure a high standard of comfort and cleanliness.
Each morning, a continental breakfast made with fresh, local products is served in the living room or on a 20 m² rooftop terrace (shared spaces), offering open views over the village rooftops, Aniane Abbey, and the Saint-Guilhem hills.
Set in a typical village house, this guest room is ideal for an authentic getaway in the heart of Languedoc, just a short distance from the region’s natural sites and vineyards.
🐾 Two cats live in the house; please take this into consideration in case of allergies.
The house does not have private parking, but several free public parking areas are easily accessible nearby, including one just a 3-minute walk away.
As this is a traditional village house, access is via stairs and is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
We are Ismail and Anastasia, a young couple who fell in love with the Hérault Valley and the village of Aniane, where we are lucky to live today.
Ismail is a PhD student, and Anastasia works in wine event management, specialising in Languedoc wines.
Over the past ten years, we have travelled extensively and often chosen homestays and guesthouses. For us, it’s the most meaningful way to discover a place, and we know how much a warm welcome and a friendly atmosphere can make all the difference.
We share our home with our two cats, Merlot and Merguez, who are very gentle and affectionate.
We have long dreamed of opening a guesthouse, and after years of travel and adventures, we are truly happy to finally bring this project to life.
We would be delighted to welcome you, share our favorite local spots, and help you discover this beautiful region that we love so much!
The house is located in the historic heart of the charming village of Aniane, just a short walk from its abbey and local amenities (bakery, cafés, restaurants, tobacco shop). The village also offers several great spots, including Souka, a well-known wine bar in the region.
Ideally located just 35 minutes from Montpellier, the house is a perfect base for exploring the highlights of the Hérault Valley: the famous Pont du Diable and its riverside beach are only 10 minutes away by car, while the beautiful village of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, listed among the most beautiful villages in France, is just a 15 minutes drive away.
Nature lovers will also enjoy nearby Lac du Salagou (20 minutes away), Pic Saint-Loup for its hiking trails and stunning views, the Cirque de Navacelles, and the many walking or canoeing routes through the Hérault gorges.
The region is also rich in exceptional heritage: the Pont du Diable is part of the UNESCO World Heritage sites listed under the Routes of Santiago de Compostela.
Finally, for wine lovers, you are right in the heart of the Terrasses du Larzac appellation, surrounded by many renowned wine estates to explore!
