My Bed & Breakfast is in a charming hill-side village in the mythical Morvan Natural Park, in my 140 years old house. It's a perfect place to relax and breathe the fresh, clean air or enjoy the stars at night! The village is surrounded by forests, undulating hills and babbling brooks, nearby are many picturesque villages and bustling towns. My large garden, with fruit trees, flowers and vegetables, is completely ecological. We have three cats, and in the back of the garden chickens, two goats and bees. The guest room is a large, bright room (50 m2), with panoramic views and a private shower-room and toilet. The room has a double bed, a sitting corner and a table. Price includes WiFi, bed linnen and towels. (Smoking is not permitted in the house). I speak Dutch, English, French, Chinese and German.
I am a translator of Chinese literature, fond of poetry, stories, art, nature, gardening, cooking and animals. For breakfast I serve eggs from my own hens and home made bread. In the evening you're also welcome to join my "table d'hôtes", for which I use if possible organic vegetables from the garden (in the season) or local products. As I am a vegetarian all served meals are vegetarian.
You can make beautiful walks or go cycling, swim in the Lac de Settons, visit the nearby old town of Autun with its Roman remains , or some of the other historic sites, such as the cathedral of Vézélay, the archeological site of Bibracte, enjoy the charming centres of Chalon-su-Saone, Dijon. There are also many castles in the vicinity, and of course don't forget to visit a wine chateau.
