A beautiful two bedroom cottage, located in a rural location but within easy access to all amenities and activities, horse riding, climbing, walking, canoeing, kayaking, fishing to name a few. Just 45 minutes from Bergerac Airport, 45 minutes to Angouleme train station with direct links to Paris. Many families over the last seven years , the cottage has two double bedrooms, one with king size bed the second is a twin bedded room, both offering direct access to the pool area. A modern fitted kitchen with appliances, crockery and utensils all provided. To the first floor is a large modern open plan lounge/dining room. A flat screen TV, (free-view), DVD player, games, books are available for guests use. The garden has beautiful unbroken views over the French countryside, a raised lawn area with seating for alfresco dining, a courtyard area with BBQ and seating. The decked pool area has sun loungers & parasols and further seating. We offer our guests the free use of adult bikes and helmets to explore the surrounding area, with restaurants/cafes just a short ride away.

I moved to France just over seven years ago, falling in love with the beautiful countryside of France. After fully renovating the property, I started to rent the cottage over the summer months, back in 2019. Being located in a beautiful part of the the Dordogne our location is ideal for a peaceful relaxing environment ideal for families and singles alike. Over the past seven years I have hosted a wonderful array of guests from all over the world and look forward to welcoming more guest this coming season.

Just 5 km away in the village of Verteillac you will find a bank, boulangerie, grocery store, with a market held every Saturday morning, you will also find the monthly Brocante, which takes place the first Sunday of every month throughout the year. We have a number of fantastic restaurants within easy reach, offering two/three courses 18-25 Euros. The local town of Riberac is just 9 km away hosts a fantastic Friday market, where you will find an array of local produce. The picturesque town of Brantome located on the river Dronne commonly know as the Venice of the Perigueux, is popular with tourists. With a number of lovely restaurants or a wander through the narrow streets , you will find canoeing / kayaking here for the more adventurous. Aubeterre which has been listed as on of the most beautiful villages in France. You will find a river beach with restaurants/cafe, canoeing and kayaking an enjoyable day out for the family. Villebois-Lavalette with is Chateau dating back to Roman times is well worth a visit, in the centre of the town you will find the old wooden covered market that dates back to the 16th century,
