Spacious house for your family or friends: 7-8 rooms, 125m², 2500m² garden, in a peaceful setting in a small hamlet 6km from Embrun, 7km from the lake, and 10-20km from the ski resorts. Relax after skiing in winter, and enjoy the lake and the Durance river in summer, less than 15 minutes away by car. Countless walks around Lake Serre-Ponçon, on the slopes of the surrounding mountains, or in the forest directly from the house; hikes range from 30 minutes to 4-5 hours to reach the peaks. On-site, you can relax on our large terrace and enjoy meals on the large electric griddle. You can also play pétanque or ping-pong, and borrow the three available mountain bikes. Children will love the swings, sandbox, and the small 4m pool in summer (1m water depth). Near the lake (10 minutes away), you'll find tennis, mini-golf, a supervised beach, windsurfing, and more. Fishing and rafting/canyoning on the Durance River are 4 km away. All our guests have been satisfied for the past 6 years since we rented out our former family holiday home, passed down through three generations (see Maison CAILLE on Google or Abritel 6661272). Internet access is currently good via 4G. A fiber optic internet connection will be installed in April 2026. Cleaning and the provision of complete bed linens (in addition to mattress protectors, duvets, and pillows with pillowcases) are optional extras payable on site. As retired engineer and architect, we (Gérard and Marie) lovingly maintain the house built by our parents for three generations of our family. During family gatherings, we experience the advantages and minor inconveniences, which we gradually address thanks to the rental income. We know all the local resources and can offer you precise advice. However, we don't live on the premises when we rent it out; we leave the entire house at your disposal. A very helpful former neighbour, now living in the centre of Embrun, prepares the house and welcomes you warmly.

The hamlet of Les Lagiers in St André d'Embrun comprises about fifteen houses on one of the slopes overlooking the Durance River and Lake Serre-Ponçon. It is only 600 meters from the Embrun to Crévoux road, which also connects to Bartier and Les Orres from there. It is very quiet, bisected by the road that leads in a dead end 10 km further on to the Saluces Forest. The two nearest houses are 50 meters away. Our 2500 m² property is not entirely fenced; children can play in the small wood above and in the meadow to the north, where sheep graze for a few days only twice a year, on their journey between the plains and the mountains. The restaurants La Grande Ferme and Les Manins are nearby, and there are countless renowned places to visit: the old town of Embrun with its Gothic cathedral, Boscodon Abbey, the Erins mountain range, the Queyras valley with St. Véran (the highest village in Europe), and more.
