Self contained apartment in the centre of the village. Restaurants and hotel bar within walking distance. There is a free public car park a short distance from the property and it also has a charging point for electric vehicles.
We understand how important your furry family members are. So if you wish to bring your dog, he or she will be very welcome!

Please send us a message with details of your dog, so that we can make the necessary arrangements and give you information of our charges, which are payable separately upon arrival. Unfortunately, we are only able to accommodate ONE dog per stay and you MUST inform us first.
We are David and Debbie, your hosts, and we do our utmost to ensure your stay in the magical village of Assignan is an enjoyable one. The apartment is well equipped and we have superfast free WiFi. We are English, but speak a LITTLE French. David speaks Spanish. We are friendly and love meeting people. We are always on hand if there are any issues or you just want a chat!

Assignan is a very pretty village in a wine region, with Restaurants and a hotel bar. You will find plenty of places for river bathing around 5-10 minutes drive away.
The nearest town is Saint Chinian, which is approximately 5 minutes drive away. Saint Chinian has markets twice weekly and a good selection of shops, restaurants and bars. Roquebrun is approximately 20 minutes drive away and is a pretty little town on the river Orb, which has a lovely beach. Kayak and paddle board hire is available, for those who love water sports. Roquebrun is a vibrant little town with lots to see, including the famous Jardin Mediterranean! There are some good restaurants and bars.
The nearest Mediterranean beach (Valras Plage) is approximately 40 minutes drive away. Gorges d'Heric is about 30 minutes drive away and well worth a visit. These are just a few suggestions - there is so much more to explore and something for everyone!
