Your hosts are an American couple, Joshua and Stephanie, who (along with their cat - Comtesse Bella) moved from the United States to France to enjoy a different lifestyle and to create a home where everyone is welcome! As avid travelers Joshua and Stephanie fell in love with Europe, France in particular, and after several years of planning made the decision to relocate permanently. They strive to give all of their guests a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Whether its the delicious breakfast, a stroll around the garden, or a swim in the refreshing pool, they endeavor to make each stay unique! Bella was rescued from an alley in Indianapolis, Indiana as a tiny kitten and has been a faithful companion and friend since 2009. She enjoys living at the top of the maison...taking many naps a day and playing with her favorite toys.

We have proudly and enthusiastically revived this charming house, which has the appearance of a “petit chateau”, in all its glory. We have chosen to offer luxurious rooms while retaining the individuality and charm of the house. You can enjoy and relax in our park-like garden with swimming pool (seasonal) while enjoying a drink. We are open for you all year round. You can also dine in our restaurant where we offer a delicious breakfast and a three-course menu in the evening. Breakfast is continental including fresh orange juice, tea, coffee, bread, croissants, cold meats, cheese, jam, yogurt, fruit, and eggs (scrambled/fried/boiled) upon request. We use fresh ingredients for every meal, so we require a minimum of one day notice if you would like dinner. Dinner often includes a terrine starter, a main course of chicken and roasted potatoes, and a homemade dessert. Our chambres are very popular as a stopover for guests who are in transit to their holiday destination in the south of the country or to Spain, and on the way back to the north. There are also various options for a longer stay with us to discover culture, walking, cycling, golfing or visiting beautiful places such as Hérisson; the spas of Bourbon-l'Archambault; The Forêt de Troncais.....relaxing in authentic France is also very possible here.
