The south facing patio area is real sun trap with plenty of room for tables and chairs for relaxing and eating outside. The Gîte has a private pool with sunbeds. The indoor games room has a pool table and darts board. There is Freesat tv (English and French) in the living room and free wi-fi throughout the property. Secure parking at the front of the property. Towels and linen provided. Guests are requested to provide their own pool towels.

My wife pauline and I have lived in the Vendee since 2019. We have made Les Poiriers a spacious and comfortable place for you and your family and freinds to enjoy. You will have exclusive use of all the facilities.

The Vendée enjoys a sunshine comparable to the departments of the southern Mediterranean according to the figures of Météo France. With beautiful rolling countryside, historic villages and fabulous beaches it is an area of france not to be missed. Situated on the edge of the picturesque village of Saint Pierre du Chemin, we are just a five minute walk to the centre. The village has a Bolongerie, a Pharmacie, a bar, Tabac and restaurant. The larger town of La Chataignerie with supermarkets and shops is a 15 minute drive away. Les poiriers is located right beside the Hyère Valley Plein d’eau. This is a natural recreation centre of about 9.8 acres, created in 2008. It is criss-crossed with paths and has a small lake of 6,000 m2. There is a ‘Green theatre’, picnic tables and a toilet block.
