Maison Saunières, a charming 4‑star holiday home, located just 20 minutes from Beaune in the heart of Burgundy: elegant holiday home where calm, space and nature come together to create a rare experience. With 400 m² of carefully designed interiors, the house offers generous living areas, a warm atmosphere and open views over the garden, the heated pool and the surrounding landscape. The heated pool (available from May to September), bordered by terraces and outdoor furniture, invites you to relax at any moment of the day. Inside, every space is designed for comfort: a welcoming living room, fireplaces, a fully equipped kitchen, spacious bedrooms with high‑quality king‑size beds, a dressing room, modern bathrooms and a private wellness area. The house is ideal for family stays, gatherings with friends or longer escapes. Maison Saunières is a place to slow down, breathe, and enjoy light and silence. The surrounding nature, the nearby Beaune vineyards, charming villages and walking paths offer an ideal setting to unwind. Here, every stay becomes a precious, simple and authentic moment, in a characterful home where every detail is designed for your well‑being — including the hammam and sauna.
Lovers of traditional craftsmanship, we were dreaming of an old house that had preserved its original "cachet" with beautiful materials but also offering the kind of comfort you need to enjoy yourself all year round, and all this in a place that is emblematic of French “savoir-vivre”. We drove along the river Doubs on a small road, first catching sight of the barn with its half-timbering and roof, emblematic of the Bresse. Then the charming holiday home Maison Saunières came into view. And that was that, we would become the guardians of this heritage. Since 2011, thanks to the previous owners, the house has been a great success to rent, and we're proud to continue sharing this place. We are a French-Swiss couple, passionate and curious. We look forward to meeting you.
The proximity to Beaune (just a 20‑minute drive) makes Maison Saunières the perfect base for exploring Burgundy.
