You will feel at home! The house, architecturally designed in 1928 in the Art Deco style is equipped with modern comfort and decorated with family antiques. In recent years we have worked to restore the original architectural features. The aim is to update this family home whilst retaining its warm feeling of home. Ideal for a business trip with Fast Fibre Wifi access and desk area, but also equipped for a couple or family, the house will provide you with a calm and quiet environment. Two bedroom, new bathroom, Laundry, a new kitchen entirely equipped with Nespresso coffee maker, Nutri-bullet complete the space. The patio and garden are directly accessible from the living area.
The house has been in he family since 1970. Being my Grand Mother's house, I purchased it upon her passing and have wanted to restore it whilst keeping the feeling of home that I have always known. I live in Australia where I am an interior degree and run hotels. In France the house is managed remotely by myself and with the help of my family.
The house is located in a quiet street overlooking a forest of poplars. It is an original Garden workers street that us to be right nest to a factory. Le area of the factory is currently being transformed into a park. The factories that were across the road have been transformed into a shopping centre with shops open 7 days a week. The house is very close to the Belgium border, to Valenciennes and is also at the entrance of the picturesque Avesnois. The house is also very close to the Bombardier / Althom factory in Crespin and of the other surrounding companies.
