La Couture is a stunning manor house, set against the white limestone cliffs of the Loire and overlooking the valley of the Loire and Indre rivers. It is surrounded by stunning terraced gardens planted with boxwood and yew topiary, English roses,
Italian cypress and French lavender.
There is a lovely heated pool overlooking the potager.
The house is furnished with a mix of sumptuous antiques and modern confortable Italian furnishings.
The property is set in a UNESCO world heritage site. It is ideally located for those wishing to visit the medieval Fortress of Chinon, the Chateaux and gardens of Ussé ( sleeping beauty’s castle), Azay-le-Rideau, Langeais, Villandry and the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud.
The property is within a stone’s throw of the majestic Loire and the quiet Vienne, Cher and Indre rivers which makes it a lovely place to stay if you wish to cycle, have a boat trip
or do some water sports ( canoeing, kayaking and stand-up paddle ).
