Featuring a beautiful private pool set in mature gardens, the property is located in a small traditional French village with an open air tapas bar about 1.5 hours from Royal France the the many Chateaux of the Loire Valley. The Manoir is a formidable Maison de Maître built in around 1860, in private grounds with covered terrace, sun terrace, wine cave to cool down, free wifi and private parking. The swimming pool offers a cooling pergola and seating under the mature trees for shade. the pool is an even 1.5 metres in depth, so very safe for children. Towels and bed linen are provided, as are pool towels and robes and slippers. For guests with children, there is a trampolene, table tennis and baby gates. There are 4 new bikes which can be used at no extra cost. There are set lunch and dinner menus at extra cost. Guests may check in at 1pm and relax around the pool and have a refreshing drink or two. The property offers a paid airport service, and general taxi service if required at extra cost.

We love France and we love our home, which we have owned for 17 years. France offers so much in the way of history, great food and wine and a culture which is a ttractive to so many people. We enjoy meeting people and cooking great food. We decided to offer our property to guests to share these experiences.

The property is set on the outskirts of a small village with a tapas bar, the setting is very private and south facing. There is a town with all services 5 miles away and the larger town of Thouars is approx 9 miles away.
