Rural Normandy at its most tranquil. Mis Harand is a small hamlet beside the village of Litteau. An elegant 18th Century Farmhouse surrounded by mature gardens with a heated outdoor swimming pool. The house is traditionally furnished with antiques and paintings. Books and board games abound Guests are welcome to relax in the sitting room by the log fire or enjoy a barbecue or picnic in the garden. There is a small kitchenette available, with Fridge/Freezer space, Air fryer and Microwave. The bedrooms are spacious and well appointed. Comfortable mattresses and good linen. The rooms have private en suite modern showers. WiFi is available throughout the house. We happily accomodate children and pets. A laundry service is available upon request.

We have lived in France for some years and enjoy local history, cuisine and markets. We are happy to suggest attractions or just leave you to quietly relax in your own space. We share our space here with our 2 friendly dogs Margaux and Basil.

Mis Harrand is a peaceful rural location off the beaten track with clear night skies and clean air. Escape the clamour of everyday life for a calmcation. The only thing that may disturb you is the gentle thud of a falling apple or the hoot of an owl. We are close to Bayeux, St Lo, Cerisy Le Foret, Vire and The wonderful Normandy Beaches. Mont St Michel is just under 1 hour away. The Cotentin Peninsula is easily explorable, as are the cities and Ferry Ports of Caen and Cherbourg.
