Moon River is an exquisite former Napoleonic Inn, dating back to the 15th Century, thoughtfully restored to preserve its historic features while offering refined comfort. Nestled in the ancient quarter of town beside the river, the property enjoys a tranquil and picturesque setting, yet remains just a short walk from the town centre, with its selection of bars, restaurants and traditional french shops. Guests are invited to enjoy the Inn's private bar and restaurant ' Albert's' on specific days and times. Moon river is tastefully styled with French antique furnishing throughout and offers generously proportioned tooms designed for relaxation, elegance and an exceptional stay.

Restoring the old Napoleonic Inn has been a labour of love for us and we are very excited to share it with our guests. We know you will fall in love with this beautiful untouched part of the world, just like us! We aim to make your stay a very special experience, a place to make wonderful memories.

Moon River is located in the ancient part of Bellac, right by the river, boasting beautiful scenery and one of the oldest bridges in France, its is extremally picturesque. walk along the ancient streets and see the architecture of days gone by and mother nature all around. The town itself is just a stroll away offering a number of bars and restaurants, artisans and all usual amenities to enjoy and explore.
