Built in 1835, these beautiful building, comprising a Grande Maison and three self contained cottages, La Marcillande, L'Enea Terrasse and La Gardonnette, have been luxuriously restored and refurbished to create an amazing balance between the Perigord traditional style and tasteful, modern convenience. The properties offer independent, spacious accommodation for between 4 and 12 people, depending on your requirements. The rear private gardens of the properties offer an outdoor pool whilst at the front, you can relax by listening to the majestic Dordogne river flow by. Welcome Pack, bed linen, towels, cleaning products and final cleaning are all included in the price, enabling you to concentrate on relaxing and enjoying your stay with us.

The properties, since October 2017, are under new ownership and known, collectively, as Moon River sur-Dordogne. They are managed by Sophie and William, who have lived in St. Cyprien since January 2016. After extensive travel through Europe and North America, they decided to make the Dordogne Valley their home and have enjoyed managing properties and welcoming guests ever since. So, whatever your language, you will be guaranteed a warm welcome.

The properties are surrounded by beautiful, signposted walks with the historic Dordogne river literally 30 metres away. Although there is a genuine feeling of being in nature, with its peace and serenity, we are close to the main Bergerac - Sarlat road, allowing our guests to explore all the magic that this area offers. The historic and beautiful market village of medieval St. Cyprien is a five minute drive away. The Dordogne region is blessed with a multitude of medieval villages and chateaus and within a one hour's drive, in whichever direction you head, you will be captivated by the diversity and spectacular scenery this region offers. You can experience canoeing, way marked walking, or zip-wiring through a forest, all within a short distance from our location here. We are an excellent base from which to experience Sarlat, a medieval town only 20 minutes drive away or, alternatively, hop on the train at St. Cyprien station which is a 10 minute walk from where you will be staying. The village is a stop on the main line between Bordeaux and Sarlat.
