Located in the middle of a fully fenced 1.6 ha wooded park, our house was built on one level according to the plans of the Dax architect René Guichemerre in 1977. Widely open to nature, it is a rare example of a modernist Landes villa. Furnished with tables, benches, swing, children's swing and hammocks, the park is mainly planted with maritime pines and oaks, but around fifty other species are to be discovered: cryptomerias, eucalyptus, rhododendrons... Our three comfortable bedrooms, all located in the East wing of the house, overlook the park and/or the swimming pool 10 x 5 m due south through large bay windows made of exotic wood. Each has its own small terrace equipped with a garden table, chairs, relaxation armchairs and parasol. They all communicate with the dining-room where copious breakfasts are served. At your disposal: Italian coffee maker, microwaves, kettle, teapots, toaster, mini-fridge to cool your drinks as well as a small library. For your leisure activities on site : badminton, table tennis, pétanque. But our house is a beautiful gateway to many nature activities : beaches of Hossegor, Seignosse, Cap Breton, Messanges… at 35' away ; as well as nature reserves, ponds, lakes, golf courses and cycle paths. We have found a little paradise in L'Aiguade and will be happy to share it with you during your stay.

We are a couple of young retirees who fell in love with this beautiful property dating from 1977. It was designed on the modernist plans of the excellent Dax architect René Guichemerre, the same one who bequeathed to the city of Dax the Parc du Sarrat, today classified as a Remarkable Garden and open on certain days for a guided tour. If we renovated part of this house and decorated each room with original paintings, we wanted to keep the bathrooms of the rooms, vintage jewels decorated with Briare enamels. Thus, each one has its own color. We maintain this house and its park as best we can, and we hope that you will be sensitive to it. At 5' from Dax, L'Aiguade, our guest house, is hidden in a magnificent 1.6 ha wooded park located on the edge of the forest. You will find a green, serene and calm environment, planted with around fifty species. The ocean beaches (Hossegor, Cap Breton, Seignosse, etc.) are 35 minutes away ; as are many lakes, nature reserves and renowned golf courses. We look forward to seeing you.
