We are Roxane and Martin, architects who have been living in Provence for a decade, after residing in Paris, Rome, and Athens. We decided to make this heavenly place our home to raise our children, renovate the Provencal heritage, and design forward-looking projects. We have arranged a fully equipped kitchen where you can prepare your breakfasts, lunches, and dinners in peace. Welcome to our exceptional house located in Luberon, in the heart of Provence. Nestled on the classified site of the ochres and in the Natura 2000 area, our historic house belonged in the 19th century to Pauline Jaricot, a social utopian who developed an altruistic and universalist project there. Whether you want to discover the picturesque villages of the Luberon, explore hiking trails, relax by the pool, or simply immerse yourself in the sweetness of Provençal life, "Parenthèse en Luberon" is the ideal place for an enchanted interlude. Let yourself be seduced by the beauty of the region and enjoy a memorable stay in this little corner of Provencal paradise. HOUSE: Our large building has been divided into two distinct parts. We live in the first part, while the second is dedicated to rental. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 suites with a sleek design, each equipped with a bathroom and a toilet, over an area of 450 m². You can relax in the living room with fireplace and share delicious moments with family or friends in the very large dining-kitchen. To refresh yourself, you can enjoy our heated indoor pool with a liftable bottom. INDOOR POOL: Finally, the centerpiece of the house is undoubtedly the 8 m x 3 m indoor pool with a bottom that can be raised to the desired height (maximum depth of 1.4 m). A shower overlooking the pool and independent toilets are also available. You will also find comfortable lounge chairs to relax in.

Located at the center of the protected ochre area of the Luberon Regional Natural Park, this unique house testifies to its rich past that has shaped both its structure and its environment. Over time, it has been a mill, the residence of the master of a philanthropic iron forge and an ocher farm. Remnants of these various times, like a basin, a millrace, a wall of the former iron factory and a lime tree alley that recently served as a set for a film, are still visible today. The charm of this dwelling lies in the way its successive occupants have adapted and utilized the natural resources of the place. Visits to the Provencal Colorado can be made by bike or car. The territory is dotted with charming hilltop villages, each having its unique character. In Apt, you can rent bikes, electric or traditional, and enjoy the cycle path that goes from Forcalquier to Cavaillon. Moreover, hikes can be organized from the house itself. OUTDOORS: The vast outdoor spaces offer several areas with tables, chairs, loungers and a garden lounge, allowing you to enjoy the sun or shade under the plane trees. A stone table and chairs shaded by a pergola, as well as an electric barbecue, are at your disposal. Please keep a close watch on your children near the basin, as even though it is protected by a small fence, the safety of our little explorers remains a priority. In this house, the owners share the outdoor spaces with travelers. CHILDREN'S AREA: Furthermore, children can have fun in a play area specifically designed for them, including a superb wooden cabin in the trees with a 5 m slide, a wooden swing set with a slide, and a giant trampoline.
