In the center of the "Pays des 1000 Etangs" (1000 lakes-region) of the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté in the Southern Vosges Mountains – some call the area “Little Finland” – in the canyon of the Breuchin river, lies the village of Sainte Marie-en-Chanois, with its 202 inhabitants, founded in the Middle Ages. From there, follow the signs "Chapelle St. Colomban" for about 2 1/2 km on the small, initially steep and winding road, up into the forest – there we are: "Pas de Deux", our home, B&B, art gallery and workshop facilities, with, of course, a lake.
