Renovated 5 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms French country house offering a vast landscaped 6,000 SQM private park, tennis court and heated (fenced) pool. Located in world renowned Barbizon, in the Fontainebleau forest, with many nearby attractions such as art galleries, golf, horse-riding, bouldering, hiking, shopping and gourmet restaurants. Paris and Disney are a short 45 min drive. Perfect for families with children (baby gear, security gates, toys, etc) and for adults’ reunions alike.
Hi , Christian here. My wife and I are delighted to bring our newly remodeled home in Barbizon ! Our house has positive vibes and offers a vast private park, tennis court and renovated (heated) pool . Our property is conveniently located within walking distance from Barbizon Village which is also easily accessible from Paris in about 45 mins. My wife Zeina and I have 3 young children and our work assignments have successively allowed us to live in London, Paris, Miami, Dubai, Dublin and presently in the Zurich area, Switzerland. We are thrilled to have been able to bring this typical Barbizonian house into the 21st century by adding ensuite bathrooms, new technologies and premium materials to the traditional house. The house is peaceful and bright and ideal for relaxing alone or in small groups. Our gourmet kitchen is spacious and well equipped to allow you to cook and treat all your friends and dear family members. As responsible parents we have also made sure our home and surroundings are all safe children of all ages. We sincerely hope you will have a great time there. Christian
This stunning house is situated within the enviable and ever popular area of Barbizon which is bordered by the forest of Fontainebleau, while Paris is also within easy reach (45 mns drive). Barbizon Village is on the doorstep and a wide range of shops,art galleries, bars, cafes and restaurants can be found along Rue Grande, and throughout historic Barbizon. A great selection of activities including sports, well-being, gourmet food and entertainment. The charming village of Barbizon nestling on the edge of Fontainebleau forest owes its fame to the 19th-century landscape painters Théodore Rousseau, Jean-Baptiste Corot, Charles-Francois Daubigny and Jean-François Millet who lived there. Their artistic movement, the Barbizon School (1830 to 1875), was considered a precursor of Impressionism. The artists appreciated the tranquility of this peaceful village and the beauty of the surrounding nature. Walking along the main street, you'll find a succession of beautiful homes, shops, restaurants and art galleries.The edge of the forest in Barbizon is the departure point for a way-marked walking trail exploring the scenery that inspired these great landscape painters.
