You are right in the centre of Amiens. Splendid Cathedral is located 50 metres from Notre-Dame Cathedral, at the gateway to the Old Town, where everything is within walking distance. Outside, cobbled streets, cafés, bakeries, terraces and shops await you; the atmosphere is lively and friendly. In 5–10 minutes on foot, you can reach Saint-Leu, with its canals, colourful houses and restaurants by the water. In fine weather, boat trips take you through the Hortillonnages (floating gardens); in winter, the centre lights up with markets and decorations. Museums, shops and the banks of the Somme are all nearby. Getting around: here, you don't need a car. The train station is a 10-15 minute walk away, transport links are nearby and everyday essentials (supermarket, pharmacy, cash machine) are 2-5 minutes away. If you come by car, free parking is included — just follow our access guide to easily enter the historic centre. Please note: the cathedral bells ring during the day — this is also part of the charm of the neighbourhood.
