My house is situated in the centre of France in the small village of Jarnages only 3kms from the N145 - a dual carriageway running east-west accross France. The upstairs flat on the second floor has good views of the surrounding countryside. It is completely self-contained with a large kitchen, bedroom and lounge and separate shower and washing facilities. Parking if free immediately in front of the property. I'm afraid I cannot give further information without a booking.
I have dual English/ French nationality and farmed livestock for 20 years in France. I then set up my house in the nearby village of Jarnages in 3 flats, one where I live and two which I rent out. I run a walking group, play table-tennis, give English lessons and belong to two choirs..
The village has a bakery, bar/restaurant, small grocers and pharmacy all within 200 metres of the house. There is a weekly Sunday market. The area is ideal for walking and cycling including cross-country. There are several castles locally and the the town of Aubusson with its UNESCO tapestry museum is not far away.
