I am English, my husband is Danish and we have 2 boys, aged 23 and 20. We have lived at The Apple Orchard in Le Thor for 22 years, spending our child rearing years doing renovations and cycling! We also have a gorgeous villa in Caromb that we bought back in 2005 and have rented on short, seasonal and long term lets. With 20 years of experience in the Serviced Accommodation market, we are ready to provide you with the best holiday experience. We are the owners of the property and have lived there for more than 24 years. In this time we have renovated and rented different areas of the house, so we are very accustomed to welcoming guests from all over the world. We know how special this property is and are very happy to create a warm, inviting ambiance for all those who stay there. We will be there to welcome you, help you with any information you may need, sort out any issues, or to share an aperitif on a beautiful evening out by the pool.

Situated in a quiet location amongst apple orchards, this apartment is one of 3 apartments located at this property, with its own private eating terrace and shared use of the pool. It has the unique quality of being private whilst giving the opportunity to meet others if desired. We are happy to welcome your dog, knowing the entire site is fenced in and secure. As a courtesy, please let us know you are bringing your dog. There is a charge of 10 euros per night. This can be paid in cash on arrival, as it is not possible to add this cost to the booking fee. We also have a little dog, a Shiba Inu, called Alba.

We are situated in the countryside, 2 kms equidistant between Le Thor and Chateauneuf de Gadagne. It is quiet and peaceful, surrounded by apple orchards and fields of sunflowers, poppies and wheat, depending on the year. We are also only 3 kms from L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, famous for its river cafe's, restaurants and antique markets. The château at Thouzon is an old abbey dating back to the 11th Century set within a beautiful oak forest and meadows. This is a lovely place to take an evening stroll, with 360 degree views across the Vaucluse. Beneath it lie the Caves of Thomson, another fascinating place to visit. We are located centrally to all places of interest, with Avignon being only a 20 minute drive. The Luberon, Mont Ventoux and St Remy are also only 30 minutes away. There is a local produce market in Le Thor twice a week and various local restaurants dotted between the villages. We have bicycles you can rent to cycle locally, the area around the house is very flat, or you can choose to explore further afield. We have lots of cycling routs and recommendations we can make.
